Konami has released another Castlevania. This time it's a sequel to the good ol' Castlevania that had made it onto the Sega Genesis, Castlevania: Bloodlines.

Well, looks like I didn't get the job. They gave it to someone else. No escape for me. Oh well. I should still be moving from overnights to days. I'll get to live a little more 'normal'.
We still move the 27th. Getting everything packed up ahead of time. Things are getting stressful 'round here, not too bad though. I expected worse. We have hired movers to do all the work, but I'm still getting people 'round for a couple beers afterwards. We'll need the relaxation.

Well, at Zellers a huge, HUGE number of toys have gone on sale and on clearance. So, being the nerd that I am, I just had to hit up the action figure section. Picked up Skeletor from the new Masters of the Universe series, Mystique from Marvel Legends and Barbie dressed up as Harley Quinn.
I also just finished reading the first 50 issues (#51 gets released in November) of "Y: The Last Man". It's about an "apocalyptic plague" that kills off everything with the Y chromosome (basically, it kills of the males of every species), except for a lone man named Yorick and his monkey Ampersand. This is an AMAZING story, I can't get enough of it. I'm just upset that the issues are so short and don't come out fast enough. I want to finish the story, damnit!!
The first issue of "Y: The Last Man" can be downloaded in PDF format from the Vertigo website. Click Here for the site.

Well, it's Thanksgiving day here in Canada. I get to work tonight, whoopie.
Yeah, good ol' Zellers. The second (literally) that the day changes from the holiday, I have to start work. Midnight Monday night/Tuesday morning. Beautiful.
I have to book time off tonight for our move on the 27th. We're staying in Brampton, just moving to a bigger, better house.
I should be getting a phone call this week from Zellers head office this week. I had an interview there on Thursday that went REALLY well. It's only in the mailroom, but it's better hours, almost twice the money and a less intense job. I can't wait. I'll get to live like a normal person and have a social life again.

When it rains it pours and opens doors
And floods the floors we thought would always keep us safe and dry
And in the midst of sailing ships we sink our lips into the ones we love
That have to say goodbye
And as I float along this ocean
I can feel you like a notion that won't seem to let me go

Well, it finally happened.
21 years after we moved into this house, we've finally sold it and we're moving into a new, bigger house.
I haven't gotten to see it yet, but my parents are raving about it. My dad isn't all that happy though, seeing as it cost him a third of a million dollars. :P
Oh, well. I'll have a new bedroom that I get to furnish after February. New desk, new dresser, new bed, an aquarium. It'll be great :) And there is more than enough room to fit a Debra in there, so now she'll have to visit.
